Project Managers

Education and/or Experience

• B.S., M.S. or equivalent degree in Computer Science or Information Technology (IT).
• Minimum of five (5) years experience in software development and three (3) years experience in software project management.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Extensive experience in project planning, project tracking, requirement management, risk management and communications management.
• Excellent understanding of the software development process and development model (Iterative, Spiral, Water Fall).
• Extensive experiences in requirement capturing and analysis.
• Strong leadership and management skills, good analytical thinking/logic, and an ability to learn quickly.
• Must be proactive, highly accountable, and customer service oriented.
• Strong English communication skills.
• Excellent understanding of various technology frameworks/platforms (.NET, .NET Remoting, WebServices, DCOM, J2EE, RMI, SPRING, STRUT, CORBA, ACE), application servers (JBOSS, IIS, WebSphere, Oracle Application Server, WebLogic)
• Knowledge of integration solutions (MQSeries, WebMethod) for proposing/evaluating architecture design is helpful.
• Knowledge of factory automation, finance, telecommunications or logistics-related systems is a plus.
• Fluency in Japanese/Chinese/French is a plus.

Duties

• Manage all activities of a project with respect to the complete life-cycle of the project, especially concerning:
  o project planning, project schedule, project tracking;
  o risk management;
  o requirement management;
  o communication management;
  o quality management;
  o budget control (if needed).
  
• Manage and oversee skill development of the project staff.
