R & D Engineer
Education and/or Experience
- B.S., M.S. or equivalent degree in Computer Science or Information Technology (IT).
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Experience in some of the following areas: algorithm, multimedia and graphics, AI, DSP, knowledge management, security, software development, embedded systems, mobility, networking, parallel and distributed systems.
- Strong software development experience.
- Junior candidates must have demonstrated outstanding potential for leadership in their field.
- Candidates must also be able to collaborate effectively with other researchers and product development teams.
- Good communication skills, both written and spoken.
- Must enjoy working in small teams.
- Must be highly motivated and hard-working.
Duties
- The primary responsibilities include conducting basic and applied research on the most challenging computer science problems.
- Research new and innovative technologies.
- Develop prototypes for new technologies.
- Apply new technologies to develop innovative products.
